The Outdoor Programs and Properties team strives to meet the needs of councils and council camping operations with helpful and timely conversations about all things BSA camping. This webinar series is meant for camp leaders (professional and volunteers) who are responsible for camps in the council. The webinars listed below are meant to be helpful tools to understand BSA policies and answer questions about topics related to camping. Registration is required for each and is FREE. Understanding the role of our council health supervisors is a key way we can enhance that value to all who participate in our life changing Scouting programs. This session will walk through the roles and responsibilities of council health supervisors. Resources for this key position will also be shared.

What: Our annual pre-camp leaders meeting is for 2022 camp leadership. This key meeting reviews the critical topics and support, focused on delivering the best camping programs at summer camp 2022.
3/23/2022 – Wilderness First Aid Training for the BSA – Who What, When and Where
When: Wednesday, March 23rd at 7pm CT
What: Wilderness First Aid training focuses on the injuries and illnesses you’re most likely to see on a wilderness trip. Wilderness First Aid courses teach responses to what’s common, more serious emergencies, and everything in between. Join us for an in-depth discussion for future participants and instructors that will build your understanding of when this training is required, when it is recommended, who can instruct and what courses are approved by the BSA.
