Here is a list of careers in aviation, with short descriptions for each. Find a few that sound interesting and check them out – online, in the library, or ask your counselor for direction. The world is getting smaller every day, and there will be many great jobs available in the aviation for many years to come!
Pilot

Airline Pilot: Operates commercial passenger or cargo aircraft for airlines.
- Corporate Pilot: Flies private jets for business executives or private clients.
- Cargo Pilot: Specializes in transporting goods and freight.
- Military Pilot: Operates various aircraft for defense missions, reconnaissance, or transport.
- Helicopter Pilot: Flies helicopters for tasks like medical evacuations, search and rescue, or news coverage.
- Flight Instructor: Teaches others to fly, often building experience for other pilot roles.
- Charter Pilot: Flies unscheduled flights for private or business clients.
