2025 Cub Scout Holiday Letters for Military

This year, we are asking Cub Scouts from across the country to make a holiday card for military personnel.  After Cub Scouts make a card, their leader will gather all the cards and ship them in one package to Scouting America’s National Service Center in Irving, TX.  We are partnering nationally with Holiday Cards 4 Our Military Challenge and Boots for Troops, who will get letters written by Cub Scouts to military bases around the world during the holiday season.

Locally, we are proud to partner with New Country 96.3 FM based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and radio personalities Hawkeye (Distinguished Eagle Scout) and Michelle, for the 10,000 for the Troops campaign.

How to participate:

  1. Set a meeting to make holiday cards with your Cub Scouts. Cub Scouts can make as many cards as they want. Have them include the Pack number, city, and state.  Have them use only their first name.
  2. Take photos of your Cub Scouts making cards and send them to: pr@scouting.org. Make sure to include your city, state, and Pack number.
  3. Collect the cards from your Cub Scouts and ship them in one package to Scouting America’s National Service Center in Irving, TX.  Include the Pack Number and Council on the return address.
