Position Overview

Responsibilities
Plans, promotes, and directs the council’s year-round outdoor programs of the Blue Ridge Council.
- All Council Camps, including but not limited to Summer Camp, Winter Camp, and Day Camps
- All Council Activities
- All Training Events
- All Advancement Committees
Advises and supports the following committees
- Camping Committee
- Day Camp Committee
- Training Committee
- Advancement Committee
- Activities Committee
- Order of the Arrow Lodge staff advisor
- VP Programs and committees under the VP
- NCAP team
- National Jamboree Committee
Assures the council’s long-range strategy achieves its mission and programs meet the stated objectives
Other duties as assigned by the Scout Executive
