Position Overview
The Sr. Graphic Design Specialist supports the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Marketing and E-commerce departments with conceptualizing and design execution of marketing initiatives for the BSA Supply Group division. The position is responsible for producing visually appealing and user-friendly designs for our website, email marketing campaigns, and other digital print assets. Creative expertise will play a key role in shaping our brand identity and driving engagement.
Responsibilities
- Creates captivating graphics, illustrations, and visuals for various digital and print materials, to include: store signage, social media content, and other marketing collateral. Uses BSA brand standards to develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity for the organization, and ensures consistency across platforms. Provides design expertise and guidance on various projects.
- Designs and codes responsive email templates for marketing campaigns and communications.
- Collaborates with Copywriter and other Designers to create visually compelling email content that drives engagement and conversions.
- Conducts A/B testing to refine email designs for improved performance. Conduct testing and scheduling functions with Klaviyo.
- Optimizes web assets for performance and SEO.
- Conducts research and gathers feedback to inform design decisions and enhance user interfaces.
- Creates wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to illustrate design concepts and functionality.
- Takes an omnichannel approach to each project so that customers experience a seamless shopping journey in-store and online.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience as a Web and Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web and email design projects.
- Expert level proficiency using industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Proven experience working with email delivery platforms, preferably Klaviyo or similar.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS skills for coding responsive email templates.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and other front-end development technologies.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Must be able to commute to the worksite in Charlotte, NC

Salary: $75,000 -$90,000
