Doing a good turn and lending a helping hand is at the heart of Scouting. In fact, our ability to work together to support our communities during difficult times is what makes Scouts and Scouters extraordinary.
Here are two ways you can make an immediate impact to support disaster relief efforts specific to Scouting.
The Boy Scouts of America National Foundation has established the Emergency Assistance Fund so you can help those left in the wake of events affecting Scouting.
If you would like to give general support to help Scouting when hurricanes, fires, floods and other disasters strike, please give to the BSA Emergency Assistance Fund.
If you would like to help a specific need, help Philmont Scout Ranch ensure it’s prepared to greet thousands of youth for their 2019 treks. In the summer of 2018, 27,000 acres of Philmont were damaged in the Ute Park Fire. Over 57 miles of backcountry trails, 21 trail camps and 5 staffed camp areas were impacted. Help Philmont restore, protect and prepare for the 2019 season.
Thank you for your continued support of the Boy Scouts of America and for helping the Scouting family in times of trouble.
