Players use listening skills to hear their name called to catch a ball.
Get details on the Fun & Games specifications.
To catch the ball when your name is called.
Identify a flat surface free of hazards.
All players form a circle. Choose one player to start off in the middle with the playground ball. The player in the middle throws the ball straight up in the air and at the same time calls out the name of one of the players in the circle. That player must catch the ball. If they catch the ball they return to the circle; if they don’t catch the ball they switch places with the player in the middle.
Level Up – If the group is new, use large name tags so everyone can get to know one another.
Announce that you cannot call a player more than once until everyone has been called to ensure everyone gets a turn and no one is left out.
