Cub Scouts practice their listening skills as they try to reach the game leader.
Get details on the Fun & Games specifications.
No Supplies are needed
The first player to reach the game leader wins.
Find an area that is 10 ft x 20 ft free of hazards.
Have Cub Scouts and anyone else who is playing line up, side by side about 2 ft. apart from one another. Choose someone to start the game as the game leader. The game leader stands 20 feet away from everyone who is playing, with their back turned to the players. When the game leader shouts “green light” all players start moving towards the game leader. When the game leader shouts “red light” the game leader turns around, and if they spot any player moving, the player(s) must return to the beginning. The game is won by the person who reaches the game leader first. The winner of the game gets to be the game leader next.
