Teams compete to see who can make the longest paper clip chain.
Objective
The team that makes the longest paper clip chain in 3 minutes wins. If playing with one team, see if the team can improve the length of their chain.
Set-Up
Add 50 paper clips to a bowl, one for each team.
Directions
Have teams sit down in a single file. On the game leader’s signal, the first player on each team is given the bowl of paper clips and attaches two paper clips together. They then pass the bowl and the beginning of the paper clip chain to the next player. That player adds another clip to the chain and passes it on. After 3 minutes the paper clip chains are held high in the air to see which team has the longest.
