Cub Scouts attempt to drop beans into a cup from a standing height.
Drop as many beans as possible, one at a time, into a cup in one minute.
For each player place 20 beans into a plastic cup. Place one empty cup per Cub Scout on the floor, 4 feet apart in a straight line.
Position one Cub Scout near each empty cup and give them each a cup with beans. Instruct Cub Scouts to hold the cup with beans in one hand, and that on “Go”, they are to take one bean from their cup, hold it straight out in front of them, and try to drop it into their cup on the floor. Repeat, by dropping one bean at a time, until either all beans have been dropped, or 1 minute has elapsed.
Give Cub Scouts “On your Mark, Get set, Go!” At 1 minute, call “Time is Up!”
With the help of their adult partner, each Cub Scout counts how many beans landed in their cup.
Collect all beans and try again, attempting to improve.
