Cub Scouts will choose two pets that are allowed in their community and create a compare and contrast chart.

Directions

Before the meeting:

For ideas on comparing and contrasting animals, review the animals found on Diffen.
Locate a list of allowed animals for pets in your community.
Gather supplies.
Set up meeting space for Cub Scouts to be able to create their posters.

During the meeting:

Have a group discussion about pet care and responsibilities.
Have Cub Scouts buddy up.
From the list of pet animals allowed in your community, assign 2 animals to each buddy group.
Using the poster board, Cub Scouts are to create a presentation about the differences and similarities of the two pets.
Present the poster boards to the den.
