More than 20,000 people gathered for Scouting America’s National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia in July. Held regularly since Scouts set up their tents at the first Jamboree in the shadow of the Washington Monument in 1937, Jamborees are a celebration of Scouting. With the theme of “Forward,” the 10-day event motivated and inspired Scouts with outdoor activities, concerts, fun, and fellowship with youth leaders from across the nation and the world. Plans are already underway for the next Jamboree in July 2026.
