In honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary, every unit is encouraged to complete 250 hours of community service in 2026. Every hour matters. Every act strengthens a community. Every service project builds character.
National Day of Service:
A Day to Serve Together
Introducing a new National Day of Service. Each fall, Scouting America will host a National Day of Service, anchored by Scouting for Food. This shared day of giving unites Scouts nationwide. 2026 is the inaugural year, with many details to come in early Spring.
