Scouting America is proud to announce a dynamic new partnership with AB Motorsports, led by four-time NHRA Top Fuel world champion Antron Brown, a premier team in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
Thanks to support from World Wide Technology this partnership brings together two organizations committed to performance, leadership, and the pursuit of excellence—on the track and in life. By uniting the excitement of NHRA drag racing with Scouting America’s mission to prepare young people for the future, this partnership will create powerful new opportunities to inspire the next generation.
As part of this initiative, Scouts and their families will gain unique access to the world of professional motorsports, including:
- behind-the-scenes experiences,
- driver meet-and-greets, and
- exclusive race-day programming with AB Motorsports.
These experiences are designed to showcase real-world applications of teamwork, discipline, and innovation—core values shared by both organizations.
About Antron Brown
Antron Brown is a highly accomplished racer and one of the sport’s most influential figures. Before drag racing Antron won his Pinewood derby race as a Cub Scout in New Jersey.
- He is a 4-time NHRA Top Fuel world champion (2012, 2015, 2016, 2024).
- Brown made history as the first African American champion in major U.S. motorsports.
- Over his career, he has earned 80+ national event wins across motorcycle and Top Fuel classes.
Youth and Education Services (YES) Program
A highlight of the partnership is participation in the Youth and Education Services (YES) Program, NHRA’s nationally recognized STEM initiative. During the 2026 race season, Scouts will be invited to attend YES events held on Fridays at select NHRA national events. These immersive sessions introduce students to science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through the lens of drag racing—covering topics like aerodynamics, fuel chemistry, data analysis, and safety engineering. The program connects classroom learning with real-world careers, offering an engaging and memorable educational experience right at the track.
