  2. Purchase adventure pin(s) from the Scout Store.
During the Ceremony

Cubmaster: “Tonight, we celebrate our Cub Scouts who have advanced on their path to new skills, greater knowledge, and a deeper understanding of safety. Just like on any journey, we travel best when we stay safe and prepared, looking out for one another. Each Cub Scout Adventure represents a  step they’ve taken to learn and grow, making our whole pack stronger and safer. Let’s recognize each of our Cub Scout dens as they have earned the Personal Safety Adventure.”

Recognition by Rank:

  • Call each den forward with their parents/guardians/adult partners, following the “Path to Safety” marked by the cones and do the following for each den:
  •  Present each parent/guardian/adult partner their Cub Scout’s belt loop/pin.
  • After all Cub Scouts have received their Adventure belt loop or pin, say the following for each rank:

Rank-Specific Messages:

Lion Scouts: “Lions are just beginning their journey. They are learning how to keep themselves safe in the Lion’s Roar Adventure.”

Tiger Scouts: “Tigers have taken new steps, learning about the buddy system, safety at home, and the values of Scouting and have earned the Tiger’s Roar Adventure.”

Wolf Scouts: “Wolves have earned the Safety in Numbers Adventure. They are developing skills to keep themselves safe in all kinds of situations, from the outdoors to their community..”

Bear Scouts: “Bears are becoming leaders in keeping themselves safe, identifying how to use electronics responsibly, and ways to protect their bodies when playing or working. They are setting a great example for all of us and have earned the Standing Tall Adventure.”

Webelos Scouts: “Webelos Scouts have strengthened their ability to keep themselves safe and learned ways to keep their home and meeting space safe. They have earned the My Safety Adventure.”

Arrow of Light Scouts: “Arrow of Light Scouts have learned how to protect themselves and how to help others when they have been hurt. They have earned the First Aid Adventure. They are the brightest lights on our path, guiding those who come after them.”

Cubmaster: “Congratulations, Cub Scouts! Your hard work, knowledge, and dedication to safety have led you to new achievements. Let’s give a big round of applause for our Cub Scouts on their ‘Path to Safety’!”
