1. The Den Leader gathers the Bear Scouts, family members, and any guests, and has them sit together in front of the Den Leader.
2. Denner stands next to Den Leader with adventure loops.
3. Den Leader follows the script.
“DEN LEADER: Several of the Bears in our den have earned the [name of adventure]. It is important for us all to recognize their hard work and celebrate this achievement. Will the following Bears please come forward to receive their adventure loop from our denner, [name]. (Den Leader calls name(s) and gives the Cub Scout handshake. Then, the denner presents the Cub Scout(s) the adventure loop.) Bears, please hold up your Cub Scout sign and join me in reciting the Scout Oath and Law. “On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.” “A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.” Bears, if you did your best, please give a loud bear growl! (Pause and encourage enthusiastic growls.) Congratulations. Let’s give them a big round of applause.”
4. Everyone returns to their seats.
