Directions

During the meeting:

Explain to Cub Scouts that they are going to participate in a silent challenge. They will be asked to line up in a particular order such as alphabetically by their first name, but they must figure out how to do that without talking.
Ask Cub Scouts to demonstrate some ways they can communicate without talking.
Have Cub Scouts line up, side by side. Tell them how they should line up. Here are some examples:
- Birth month
- Age
- Alphabetically by first or last name
Give Cub Scouts time to line up.
After Cub Scouts have finished, ask them what they thought was the hardest part of the challenge.
