Review Guide to Safe Scouting for camping
BSA Health and Medical Record for every Cub Scout

Tip: Cub Scout families may participate in Council Organized Family Camp.  These events may be called something less formal such as Parent and Pal or Cub Family Camp.  The program is provided by the local council and the event may last two nights. For these activities, you are not required to have a BALOO-trained leader attend, but it is recommended.

Directions

Before camping:

Find a council camp on your local council’s website and sign up
Determine what items you will need to take.
Gather copies of the Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record on each participant (youth and adult)
Review Annual Health and Medical Records for any restrictions that may impact participation
