Directions

Before the meeting:

Become familiar with the Cub Scout Six Essentials by watching this video “The Six Essentials.”
Review the Cub Scout Six Essentials in the front of the Bear handbook.
Pack all the supplies in a backpack.

During the meeting:

Explain to Cub Scouts that they’re going to decide which items are part of the Cub Scout Six Essentials.
Tell Cub Scouts that you will pull an item out of the backpack, and they are to shout “Cub Scout Six Essentials” if it is one of them and to shout “Nope” if it is not one of them.
