Den Leader Training Award

Overview

This award was developed to recognize Den leaders who have completed training, tenure, and performance standards. This award is available for adult leaders serving as a Den leader for any level of the Cub Scout program: Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light.

How to Get the Award

Completed applications should be submitted to the District or Council Service center to be processed by the District or Council Training committees and recorded in My.Scouting.

Supply Item Description and Uniform Placement

Knot: Gold Knot on a Blue background. No 5016. Knot is to be worn above the left pocket. Medal: Blue ribbon with a gold stripe suspending a pendant of a Fleur-de-lis on a rectangle. No 615864. Medals are to be worn on special occasions above the left pocket. (See Guide to Awards and Insignia)

Restricted items

The knots, devices and medals are restricted items. Your unit must present the approved Scouter’s Training Award Record & Application or Awarded Certificate to your local Scout Shop for purchase.
