Aquatic Supervision – Paddle Craft Safety

Overview

The Basic course expands Safety Afloat training to include the skills, as well as the knowledge, needed for a unit leader to confidently supervise canoeing or kayaking excursions on flat water. The River modules extend that introduction to moving water.

Who Can Earn This Award?

Earned by Scouting America members, Venturers, Sea Scouts, Explorers and adult leaders in these programs. The minimum age is 15 years old.

Purchased by instructors to present upon completion of the course
