Discuss with a parent or guardian how bodily changes can affect the choices you make as you physically and mentally mature
Healthy relationships are built on trust, not just physical attraction. Make choices you’ll be proud of as you grow older.

Take a moment to determine what you want to know about body changes and making good choices when choosing to be in a relationship. Writing down your questions first can help navigate how you want the conversation to go.
Find a quiet space where you can talk privately with your parent or guardian.
Choose a time when your parent or guardian isn’t busy.
Be honest and respectful when discussing your selected questions.
If something is confusing or uncomfortable, always speak up about how you are feeling in that moment.
