BSA RACING

It was a really great time—one of the best of my life. It was so cool to see what happens behind the scenes of a race, meet the crew, and sit in the car. I felt like a real driver. This was my first race, and it was amazing! I am now a race fan and really appreciate the opportunity to have this experience. It’s something I will remember forever.

THE COLLABORATION

With specific attention paid to BSA’s guiding principle of providing every eligible youth an opportunity to be involved in a quality Scouting experience, the BSA Racing platform is designed to be a programmatic resource that serves as a customizable extension to existing council activities.

The BSA strives to build relationships with visionary organizations and sponsors that work to educate, inspire, and invest in the continued development of our youth. In doing so, our goal is to provide local councils the opportunity to increase their capacity in the areas of money, manpower, and membership by facilitating strategically exclusive access to venues, drivers, and teams in the highly visible sport of IndyCar racing (sanctioned by the Indy Racing League).

CUSTOMIZE YOUR COUNCIL’S BSA RACING EXPERIENCE

The Boy Scouts of America’s No. 19 IndyCar will compete in the 2019 Verizon IndyCar®Series – 17 races. Local councils within close proximity to each of the race cities during the 2019 scheduleare invited to customize your council’s own BSA Racing experience by selecting and implementing the membership, fundraising and program options below.

Prior to the start of each racing season the BSA National Foundation contacts each racing facility encouraging them to open their doors to the Scouting community for the upcoming IndyCar season. For a list of BSA contacts at each race track, click here.
