2021 BSA National Outdoor Conference Announces Title Sponsor – Diamond Brand

The Outdoor Programs and Properties National Subcommittee is proud to announce Diamond Brand as the Title Sponsor of the 2021 National Outdoor Conference!

With a history of reliability and innovation, Diamond Brand first supplied the United States military dating back to WWI and WWII. In 1931, they manufactured the very first backpack for the Boy Scouts of America. In the decades since, Diamond Brand has manufactured millions of tents used by the Boy Scouts of America at camps across the country. Likely when Scouts reflect on Scout camp, they remember lying in their sleeping bag staring up at their canvas tent…likely made by Diamond Brand!

You might be most familiar with their traditional platform canvas tent design, but innovation continues at Diamond Brand! In the 1970s, Diamond Brand designed their popular lightweight camping tent, the Free Spirit. Innovation continues today with their Legendary Wall Tents and the introduction of Craft Gear.

Focused on durable, high-quality gear crafted with care and made with sustainability in mind, the Diamond Brand portfolio now includes wall tents, bags, gear, and accessories for all outdoor enthusiasts – from the expert camper to the novice beginner. Diamond Brand handcrafts its outdoor gear with a talented team of craftspeople at its headquarters in Asheville, North Carolina. More information on the company and its products can be found at www.diamondbrandgear.com

As part of their title sponsorship, Diamond Brand is giving the first 250 people registered for the 2021 National Outdoor Conference a Mercurius Bag (briefcase style) valued at $69.99!  This gift makes the $50 registration fee for the conference an even better deal.  They also are offering a few other giveaways that councils will have the opportunity to receive by having participants at the conference!
