Northern Tier O.A. Wilderness Voyage and Canadian Odyssey
The Order of the Arrow Wilderness Voyage and Canadian Odyssey programs are an experience like no other. For two weeks, Arrowmen from around the country join together and give back to the Canoe Country region through portage trail restoration work. Participants have an opportunity to leave a mark on the Border Lake region that will enable millions of visitors each year to better enjoy their experience. Trail work involves restoring and protecting trails that have existed for centuries and are in dire need of repair.
Northern Tier Leave No Trace Level 2 Instructor Course
(Formerly called a Master Educator Course)
Northern Tier offers a BSA Leave No Trace Level 2 Instructor course each summer. This five-day course features a day on base of lectures before a four-day immersive wilderness classroom experience. The class is designed to teach Leave No Trace instructors the pedagogical methods necessary to instruct others in Leave No Trace ethics. After graduating the class, participants will be able to teach BSA Leave No Trace 101 sessions, Leave No Trace Skills courses, and Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor courses.
