Wayne M. Perry
The International Division of the Boy Scouts of America announces the appointment of Wayne M. Perry of Bellevue, Washington, as the new International Commissioner of the Boy Scouts of America. Perry is the chief executive officer of a cellular telecommunications company.
Some of his past Scouting roles include Western Region vice president, president of the Chief Seattle Council, district chairman, Explorer advisor, Scoutmaster, and Cubmaster. At the present time, Perry is president of the Western Region and is a member of the National Executive Board and the executive board and executive committee of the Chief Seattle Council. Perry is a member of the Cub Scout, Supply, and International committees and the Regional Presidents’ Group.
Perry’s Scouting recognitions include the Silver Buffalo Award, Silver Beaver Award, Scoutmaster Award of Merit, Heroism Award, District Award of Merit, Order of the Arrow, Wood Badge, Scouter’s Key, and Silver Antelope Award.
D. Kent Clayburn
The International Division of the Boy Scouts of America announces the appointment of D. Kent Clayburn of Moraga, California, as the new chairman of the International Committee of the Boy Scouts of America. Clayburn is senior vice president of RBC Dain Rauscher, a private client group.
Some of Clayburn’s past Scouting roles include Boy Scout, Eagle Scout, Lodge chief, assistant Scoutmaster, district chairman, local council president, and area president. He is a board member of the Western Region and Mt. Diablo Silverado Council and a member of the International Committee of the Boy Scouts’ International Division.
Clayburn’s Scouting recognitions include the Silver Beaver Award, Silver Antelope Award, Wood Badge, 1910 Society, Baden-Powell fellow, Order of the Condor, Cub Scout Leader Training Award, Boy Scout Leader Training Award, and International Scouter’s Award.
