In a sudden cardiac arrest, seconds count. Often, a victim’s survival depends on quick action by the people around them. During National CPR & AED Awareness Week (June 1–7), the American Heart Association, AHA, wants to help save more lives by educating 1 million people about sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of CPR training.
Don’t let this opportunity to help educate your community pass you by! Do your part to help – get CPR and AED trained, watch videos or play games on the website, and raise awareness in your community. You’ll find everything you need at www.cprweek.org.
We need your help to spread the word. Imagine the impact of an additional 1 million people who know the simple steps to save a life. So be sure to register your training at www.cprweek.org and let other scouts know how to get involved!
