The safety of your youth is an important part of the Scouting experience. Through Scouting, youth develop traits of citizenship, character, fitness and leadership during age-appropriate events. And when challenged to move beyond their normal comfort level, discover their abilities.

The Scouting program, as contained in our handbooks and literature, integrates many safety features. We encourage you as a parent to become familiar with our program, safety policies, and age-appropriate guidelines.
