#CubChat Recap – Presidents Day and Citizenship

We had a bit of fun last week for our #CubChat with some trivia and facts about various Presidents of the United States and what they said about Scouting, or how they were involved in Scouting. But in the spirit of George Washington’s Birthday, or what has come to be called Presidents Day, we also took the opportunity to host a discussion on fostering Citizenship as a Core Value of Cub Scouts. We discussed ideas for civic engagement, service, history and educational opportunities within your communities that your Cub Scouts Pack can really sink its teeth into. We learned about your traditions and ideas for Go See It activities and other Cub Scout field trips.

Learn how to engage your Cub Scouts more in Citizenship-oriented activities by checking out the recap of last week’s #CubChat.
