Lion uniform, shirts and hats!
In case you’ve missed the Lion uniform images floating around the Digital Pack and other Scouting publications, we thought we’d share the exciting new gear specifically for Lions to accompany the new Lion program being piloted this fall.
These kindergarten-aged boys will get to sport a cool new t-shirt and optional cap as their uniform!
A word about uniforms
As we know, uniforming is an important method of Scouting. It helps BSA’s youth members feel special and a part of something great, and that includes Lions!
For councils participating in the pilot, your Scout Shops will soon learn how to obtain these great products. But in the mean time, check out the awesome designs in this sneak peek compilation below.
We first talked about the new Lion program back in February with something ‘roaring in the jungle‘ then we dove head first into what you can start to expect if your council is piloting a Lion program by addressing questions like “what will the Lion experience be like?“.
The response was huge and, amid the excitement, we also received a lot of great questions, many of which we discussed in our Lions FAQ such as “will Lions be a part of the pack?“. Of course, any new information or updates on the Lion program can be found right here on the Cub Hub.
So? What do you think? Is your council piloting a Lion program this fall? Let us know in the comments below.
