Cast: Lightbulb
Supervisor
Workers (multiple)
Lightbulb stands on stage, motionless. Workers stand nearby, pantomiming working.
Supervisor enters, addresses Lightbulb: Hey, what are you doing? I don’t pay you to stand around and do nothing!
Lightbulb: I’m the lightbulb!
Supervisor: You know what, I’m tired of your shenanigans. You’re fired!
Lightbulb, dejected, walks away.
Workers stop working and begin to exit.
Supervisor: Hey, what are you guys doing?
Workers: We can’t work in the dark!
