Set-Up:
The Lion Den Leader will ask all Lions, Adult Partners, and others present who wish to participate in the closing ceremony to stand in a circle, holding hands.
Directions
Before the Ceremony
- Print the ceremony script.
During the Ceremony
1. Have Lions and their Adult Partners stand in a circle, holding hands.
2. Den Leader follows the script.
“DEN LEADER: We meet as Cub Scouts, we part as friends, as now we leave, our meeting ends. As we leave tonight, do you promise to continue to do your best?
ALL: Yes!”
3. Everyone is dismissed from the Den meeting.
