Supply List
Printed copy of the owner’s manual for the chosen kitchen device, one for each Cub Scout
Green crayons, one for each Cub Scout
Red crayons, one for each Cub Scout
Directions
Before the meeting:
Review the owner’s manual for the kitchen device chosen in requirement 1 and that will be used for requirements 3 and 4.
Make copies of the owner’s manual for each Cub Scout.
If you don’t have a copy of the owner’s manual check the manufacturer’s website, most will have a PDF version of the owner’s manual for the products they make.
Complete requirement 1 with the Cub Scouts
During the meeting:
Gather the Cub Scouts and hand out a copy of the owner’s manual for the kitchen device you have chosen to complete requirements 3 and 4 with.
Read through the owner’s manual with the Cub Scouts and have them use a red crayon to circle anything that is in the owner’s manual that tells you the things you shouldn’t do and use the green crayon to circle the things that you should do.
