Boy Scouts of America

Council Executive Board Orientation

These video files are a very large size and take some time to download. As an example, depending upon your Internet connection rate, the video could take twice as long or more as the length of the video. Example: Module 1 is just over seven minutes long, and it could take anywhere from seven to twenty minutes to download.

In addition, because of the file size, it could take some time to “extract” the video from the zip folder. Be patient and it should extract, but remember that it is a large file and could take some time to complete both operations.

Once the zipped file has downloaded, a folder with a zipper will appear (usually on your desktop or downloads folder), that says (using Module 1 as our example) Module_1.zip.

Double click to open the folder and you will find, amongst other items, the Module_1.mp4. Drag this out of the compressed folder into the destination of your choice, (desktop, flash drive, etc).

To delete the compressed version, right-click the zipped folder > Choose [Delete].
