Job Overview:
The Digital Asset Management Specialist will have a direct impact on the direction and improvement of the BSA’s Digital Asset Management program. By curating digital images, videos, PDFs and other forms of content this digital expert will enable the organization to offer consistent information and branding across every digital touchpoint so that it’s easy and enjoyable for members and prospects to get the most out of their Scouting experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to codify and implement metadata standards and workflows
  • Plan system customizations, upgrades, integrations, testing and maintenance
  • Provide day to day and long-range administrative and strategic oversight of the digital asset management systems
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, user workflows and policies
  • Lead user training and assist users with all aspects of the system

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Librarian Science or similar degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relative experience preferred
  • Librarian Science certification a plus
  • Digital content management, metadata taxonomy and web technologies experience preferred
  • Driven, resourceful, hungry learner
  • Detail oriented with a strong customer service focus
