International Scouter’s Award

Overview

The International Scouter’s Award encourages Scouters to broaden their involvement in Scouting through participation in world Scouting activities, recognizes adult leaders for their contributions to world Scouting, and raises awareness of Scouting in local councils.

Who Can Earn This Award?

The award can be earned by registered Scouting America adult leaders.

How To Get the Award

Complete award requirements, then arrange a discussion with the Council International Representative for award approval. After approval by the Council International Representative (IR) and the Council Scout Executive, the Council IR works with the Council Registrar to have the award entered into the applicant’s Scouting America profile.

Upon approval and recording in the database, the signed and dated application must be submitted to the Scouting America International Committee for National award records. The application is required to be filed with the National office before the applicant may be recognized as a recipient. Send signed and scanned form to: international@scouting.org with the Subject Line: International Scouter’s Award – Council Name.
