Abilene Christian University

ACU offers a $1,000 scholarship for students who have obtained any of the following achievements through the Boy Scouts of America: Eagle Scout, Venturing Silver or Sea Scouting Quartermaster. This scholarship is renewable annually, for up to four years.

Chester M. Vernon Memorial Eagle Scout Scholarship Program

Applicant must be currently registered and active in Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting, or Venturing. He must have earned the Eagle Scout Award; have earned the Ner Tamid or Etz Chaim religious emblem; be active in a synagogue; and have demonstrated practical citizenship in the synagogue, school, Scouting unit, and community. He must demonstrate financial need.

Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting

To encourage our Orthodox Christian Scouts in their future studies, the Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting offers up to two $1000 scholarships each year. The selection process is based on applicants’ involvement and achievements in their church, school, Scouting, and community. Scholarships are contingent upon acceptance to an accredited four-year college or university.

Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Distinguished Scout Scholarship

To honor Mr. Emmett J. Doerr, who was a dedicated Catholic Scouter and a very active member of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting® (NCCS). He was the first recipient of the Brother Barnabas Founders Award. His other honors include the Silver Antelope, Silver Beaver and the St. George medals. The Doerr family and the NCCS are continuing his legacy by offering this scholarship in his name to six (6) distinguished Catholic Scouts. 

Frank L. Weil Memorial Eagle Scout Scholarship Program

Applicant must be currently registered and active in Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting, or Venturing. He must have earned the Eagle Scout Award; have earned the Ner Tamid or Etz Chaim religious emblem; be active in a synagogue; and have demonstrated practical citizenship in the synagogue, school, Scouting unit, and community.

Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award

The National Eagle Scout Association has established the Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award to recognize exceptional Eagle Scout service projects, which is part of the requirements for earning the Eagle Scout Award. Each local council will choose a council-level recipient, and from that pool, each national service territory will pick a NST-level recipient. A national recipient then will be selected from the 16 NST finalists.

Harding University Scouting Scholarship

Awarded to selected full-time students who have earned the rank of Eagle (Boy Scouts of America), Summit Award (Venturing), or Quartermaster Award (Sea Scouts). Incoming Freshmen who have received one of these awards may receive $1,000 per year. Proof of Scouting award is required. Recipients must live on-campus and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The Scout Award is renewable up to a maximum of eight semesters.

Lipscomb University Scout Award

For incoming freshmen who have received the Eagle Scout Award, Venturing Summit/Silver Award or Sea Scouting Quartermaster Award.

National Eagle Scout Association Scholarships

Available to Eagle Scouts who are members of the National Eagle Scout Association. Funding for these scholarships is provided by endowments from the National Eagle Scout Association, Lawrence S. and Mabel Cooke, Hansen & Mary Hall, the Lester S. McElwain, and the Robert and Rebecca Palmer. Scholarships are awarded to Eagle Scouts who have shown active participation in school, Scouting activities, and community service, and who demonstrate they understand the fundamentals of service to community, service to Scouting and their character. They should also demonstrate that, if they have a financial need, what distinguishes their financial need from others.

PADI Dive to Adventure 

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) offers a multilevel scholarship program to introduce Venturers and Sea Scouts to the exciting underwater world. PADI recognizes that adventure is one of the key elements of the Scouting program. Scuba diving is an exciting avocation or vocation that can be enjoyed in just about every part of the country. Rick Arkans Eagle Scout Scholarship Program

Applicant must be currently registered and active in Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting, or Venturing. He must have earned the Eagle Scout Award; have earned the Ner Tamid or Etz Chaim religious emblem; be active in a synagogue; and have demonstrated practical citizenship in the synagogue, school, Scouting unit, and community. He must demonstrate financial need.   

The Mervyn Sluizer Jr. Scholarship Fund

The Mervin Sluizer, Jr. Scholarship Fund is open to high school senior who are current members of the Boy Scouts of America and are active in the Greater Philadelphia area. This area includes, Bucks, Chester Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania as well as Burlington, Camden and Gloucester in New Jersey.

University of Evansville Scouting Scholarship

The University of Evansville has teamed up with America’s Scouting organizations to create the UE Scouting Scholarship – stacking on top of an admitted student’s substantial academic scholarship, this $2,000, four-year award is reserved for recipients of the Eagle Scout Award, Quartermaster Award, or the Summit/Silver Award.

VFW Scout of the Year

Scouts who are registered, active members of a Boy Scout Troop, Venturing Crew, or a Sea Scout Ship who have received the Eagle Scout Award, Venturing Summit Award or Sea Scout Quartermaster Award. Scouts must be 15 years of age and have demonstrated practical citizenship in school, scouting and the community. Scouts must be enrolled in high school at the time of selection. Note: All applicants still in high school who reach their 18th birthday during the nomination year remain eligible if otherwise qualified.

Waynesburg University Scout Scholarship

Eagle Scout, Gold Award recipients and Venturing Silver scouts can receive up to $2,000 over the course of four years ($500/year) for their accomplishment within scouting. Students must be accepted to Waynesburg University in order to qualify and provide their certificate as proof of achievement.

the royal family of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and he’s a life member of
the 101st Airborne Association and Vietnam Veterans Association. Barnes
serves as a senior fellow for the Global Federation of Competitiveness
Councils, a nonpartisan network of corporate CEOs, university presidents, and
national laboratory directors. He has also served as a senior executive for the
U.S. Department of Homeland Security, leading the first-responder program
and has two U.S. presidential appointments

He is the founder of Caljet, one of the largest independent motor fuels terminals in the U.S. He has served the Arizona Petroleum Marketers Association, Teen Lifeline, and American Heart Association. A triathlete who has completed hundreds of races, Alexander has also mentored the women’s triathlon team at Arizona State University.

Glenn Adams is a recipient of the Silver Beaver, Silver Antelope, Silver Buffalo, and Distinguished Eagle Scout Award. He is the former president of the National Eagle Scout Association and established the Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award. He has more than 40 years of experience in the oil, gas, and energy fields, including serving as a president, owner, and CEO. Adams has also received multiple service awards from the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers.
