Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award

The National Eagle Scout Association has established the Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award to recognize exceptional Eagle Scout service projects, which is part of the requirements for earning the Eagle Scout Award. Each local council will choose a council-level recipient, and from that pool, each national service territory will pick a NST-level recipient. A national recipient then will be selected from the 16 NST finalists.

Hampden-Sydney College

Developing responsible citizenship, character, and self-reliance, Hampden-Sydney College embraces the values also shared by Scouting. Every year at H-SC, approximately 35 freshmen, 10% of the entering class, have attained the rank of Eagle Scout-among the highest percentages at any college or university in the country. Any accepted Eagle Scout who attends Hampden-Sydney College will receive this scholarship.

PADI Dive to Adventure

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) offers a multilevel scholarship program to introduce Venturers and Sea Scouts to the exciting underwater world. PADI recognizes that adventure is one of the key elements of the Scouting program. Scuba diving is an exciting avocation or vocation that can be enjoyed in just about every part of the country.
