David George
National Venturing President

David George of Villa Park, California, is the 2007-2008 National Venturing President.  Since 2001, David has been a member of Sea Scout Ship 711, Del Mar.  From 2002 to 2006, he served on his ship's Quarterdeck as the Boatswain's Mate and Boatswain.  During the summer of 2003, David graduated at the top of his class at Chesapeake Bay SEAL Training.  In 2006, David led the Del Mar to its selection as the Boat U.S. National Flagship.  Last year, he served as the Sea Scouting National Boatswain as a part of the National Venturing Youth Cabinet.

Outside of Scouting, David enjoys sailing, spending time with his friends and family, watching movies, swimming, reading, walking, and cooking.
