Planning Your Visit
Registered attendees receive a confirmation email as opposed to the confirmation packet that used to be mailed. The email will contain a link to the PTC Family Guidebook, and other helpful materials. The information in this Guidebook as well as the information on the website, should help you prepare for your week at Philmont.
Planning
The equipment list indicates the items you should bring, and our policies page suggests items you should not bring to Philmont.

Check-In
Conference attendees may check in from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. on Sunday. Families with Mountain Trek participants must arrive before 3 P.M. This gives you time to settle in and spend some family time at Philmont. NAYLE participants should arrive by 8 A.M. and no later than 10 A.M. The Philmont staff will greet you at the welcome wagon and help you through the process.
Due to the conference preparation schedule, we cannot accommodate early arrivals.
Conference Schedule
Conferences meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Occasionally, conference meet Wednesday from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Some conference sessions vary this schedule and may have evening activities. Professional development conferences may have a slightly different schedule.
For more information about the weekly schedule of conferences and activities, see "Your Week at Philmont".
