BSA Licensing Presents 2010 Quality Licensee Awards
The 2010 Quality Licensee Awards (QLA) were recently presented to Classb (Also a 2007, 2008, 2009 QLA Recipient), AB Emblem (2008, 2009 QLA Recipient), Krelman Company (2009 QLA Recipient), Sunshine Emblem (2009 QLA Recipient), and first year award recipient Revell. Awards were presented in a closing ceremony at this year's 2011 BSA Licensee Summit in Louisville, Kentucky, to licensees who met or exceeded the requirements established for the Quality Licensee Award.
The award is designed to recognize licensees that achieve excellence through their commitment to ongoing new product development, their steadfast adherence to the licensing program requirements, and their active support and promotion of the BSA and its programs. Licensing International Expo Sneak Peek
The Boy Scouts of America is returning to exhibit for the 5th straight year at the International Licensing Expo from June 14th through June 16th at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Expo is the premiere industry trade show in the licensing business where hundreds of licensors gather to showcase their brands and properties to educate companies about current and upcoming licensing opportunities. Last year, the BSA introduced two new characters, Plug and Axel, to further expand in the entertainment product categories.
This year, the BSA will show attendees what it means to experience the evolution of Scouting! Among the newer properties available for license are Be Prepared®, Pinewood Derby®, and Plug and Axel.
