Six Strategies for Success

The goals of Hispanic Initiatives are executed through six strategies.

Staff Recruitment

Recruit, retain, and promote bilingual/bicultural staff that connect with the community and build membership.

Communications and Marketing

Produce high-quality, bilingual resources to connect Scouting to multiple generations of Latinos. You will get Scout materials in Spanish, including a full 360º marketing campaign with TV, radio, print, online, and outdoor components.

Partnerships

Build relationships at the national level with Hispanic groups that create more charter partner opportunities for councils.

Diversity Training

Provide training and support tools to local council staff when they need knowledge and tips to work more effectively with the Hispanic community.

Program Development

Help deliver a variety of programs that are designed to bring traditional Scouting to the Hispanic market, such as Soccer & Scouting.

Funding

Assist in identifying and securing funding support for Scouting programs.
