Marcos Nava
National Director
As director of Hispanic Initiatives, Marcos is responsible for the strategic development and administration of programs and people focused on BSA growth in the Hispanic/Latino population and communities. With more than 15 years of experience in Scouting, Marcos brings a wealth of field expertise and commitment to this initiative. He started with the Boy Scouts as a district executive in Southern California within a predominantly Hispanic community, and quickly used his knowledge of the market and passion for Scouting to increase membership and community engagement. After various positions of increasing responsibility and successes serving thousands of Latino youth, he went on to lead his own council in Roswell, New Mexico. Marcos has a passion for impacting the Hispanic community that shows every day. Over the years, he has found time to serve on various community boards and commissions.
