FINANCE IMPACT DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES DIRECT SUPPORT AWARD WINNERS
According to the data pulled on July 15, 2011, of the councils that closed their books for June 30, 145 councils showed an increase in Direct Support (FOS [including re-class and less provision for uncollectable], Project Sales, Special Fundraising Events [net], Foundations and Trusts, and Other Direct Support) on June 30, 2011, over June 30, 2010. Of the 145 qualifying Direct Support councils, 57 achieved the award two years in a row, and 19 councils qualified for the award in three consecutive years. Read More.
