Henry Repeating Arms Celebrates Centennial Milestone with Special Edition Rifle

Licensing Expo To commemorate the Boy Scouts of America's 100th Anniversary, Henry Repeating Arms announces the release of a special Henry Golden Boy "Boy Scouts of America® Centennial Edition" rifle. To mark this milestone, this officially licensed rifle features the Scouts Oath, Scouts Law, scrollwork and traditional Boy Scouts of America logo embellishing the receiver, as well as a 100 Years of Scouting logo and Centennial Edition gold filled etchings in the buttstock and forearm. Each rifle will bear a special serial number starting with the prefix BSA, and each local council will have the first opportunity to purchase the rifle with the serial number that matches their council (example BSA00304).

Raising BSA Brand Awareness with Commercial Licensing

BSA commercial product licensing plays an integral role in helping to further build BSA brand awareness in new distribution channels not already offered through BSA. This added exposure not only provides added convenience to purchase BSA branded products in everyday stores, but more importantly, provides an opportunity to re-connect with current membership, alumni, and others who share the brand's affinity for Scouting and Scouting Programs. BSA sees great opportunity and growth in continuing to partner with companies who share the brands values and provide high quality, innovative merchandise.


Licensing based on non-profit properties hit its lowest point in 1992 but quickly began a 46% ascent that peaked in 2006 at $950 million in licensed product sales.
