Hispanic Initiatives Team

The U.S. Hispanic population is growing at nearly four times the rate of the general American population and by midcentury, Hispanics will comprise more than a quarter of the nation's citizens and represent half of the nation's population growth.

The Boy Scouts of America has created the Hispanic Initiatives in order to reach out to this multifaceted community in ways that are meaningful and relevant, while also ensuring the continued influence of Scouting in developing ethical leaders of tomorrow.

Through the formation of the Hispanic Initiatives and the Hispanic Initiatives National Committee, the Boy Scouts of America is continuing its commitment to create progressive and innovative programs for America’s youth and their families, interweaving relevant culture throughout Scouting and creating a meaningful experience for all.
