USA Ultimate

Let’s Play Ultimate!

Ultimate is a fun, fast-paced team sport that combines the nonstop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football. A game of ultimate is played by two teams using a flying disc on a field with two end zones, similar to football. The object of the game is to score points by catching a pass in the opponent’s end zone.

Trustworthy: Scout Law and Spirit of the Game

Ultimate relies on sportsmanship, invoking the "Spirit of the Game" to maintain fair play. Players call their own fouls and dispute a foul only when they genuinely believe it did not occur. Spirit of the Game expects that ultimate players will demonstrate mutual respect for teammates and opponents alike, which develops character, leadership, self-reliance, and conflict-resolution skills. The honor system works in ultimate, just like in the Boy Scouts of America.
