Emergency Preparedness Award

Overview

Encourages youth to be prepared, productive, self-reliant adults active in their communuties; involves earning emergency preparedness–related advancement, personal development, preparing an emergency kit, and presentations. New for 2014: Units, districts, and councils can earn bronze, silver, and gold level awards.

Who Can Earn This Award?

Earned by registered youth and adults.

How to Get the Award

Upon council approval of the application, individuals may purchase award from Scout shop.

Supply Item Description and Uniform Placement

Pin may be worn on civilian clothing or on the uniform, centered on the left pocket flap.
