Serving Scouts with Special Needs

Children with special needs dream of joining Scouting. They want to be treated just like any other Scout and be recognized for their hard work. This conference, designed for volunteers and professionals on all levels, will engage participants in a dialogue of best practices currently being used in local councils who are having success serving youth with special needs; guide you toward a wealth of Scouting resources and those offered by national organizations serving individuals with special needs; and involve attendees in group discussions on proven and effective ways to work with special needs Scouts.
