Camp Standards – Procedures and Compliance

The purpose of camp standards is to provide for a consistently safe and quality camping and outdoor program for youth. Camp standards focus on continuous improvement of a sustainable camping and outdoor program. This conference is designed for Area Camp Assessment Team chairpersons, Area volunteers with camp analysis responsibilities, and Council directors of camping and camping chairs. We will focus on “how to” implement the new BSA Camp Standards, starting with an understanding of the standards and then delving into the “Application and Authorization” process and the new reporting elements.
